Poet G. C. Waldrep will read from his work, which includes the books Susquehana and Archicembalo, both very beautiful, highly ear-oriented works that engage and push against the pastoral tradition. He also co-edited the much-discussed book, The Arcadia Project: North American Pastoral Poetry, which appeared last year and was a small press best-seller. Waldrep, who is Amish, doesn't give interviews often, but this one, at Black Warrior Review, is quite good. November 16th, 6 pm.
